Flora-tec Case Study: George House Retirement Home: Old Stevenage
DESIGN BRIEF
We were briefed by our client to create a seating area with planting for 2 roof terraces of their building; a retirement home in Old Stevenage. George House is a modern building which holds many private apartments, and for this reason we wanted our work to match the environment as well as being fit for purpose and eye-catching.
“It was with great pleasure to carry out this type of job for our client as it is not a routine task for us. We were able to complete the job ahead of schedule and bring life to the roof terrace. We hope the residents enjoy their new space and we look forward to more opportunities like this in the future”.
SOLUTION The Flora-tec way
To satisfy our clients request it was important that our design was not highly striking but also an excellent and comfortable spot for the residents to enjoy some fresh air. We installed contemporary furniture including outdoor sofas and coffee tables; in addition to this we fitted beautiful plants and containers to the roof terrace. The result? A stunning and stylish area for the residents to relax, unwind and appreciate.
