Flora-tec Case Study: Northern Rail – winter maintenance contract.

BRIEF

Flora-tec helped to manage the winter services contract for Northern Rail. Within this contract, carparks and rail platforms were to be supplied with gritting services and snow clearance as needed. Due to the scale and scope of this contract, many of the sites were scattered amongst the UK, meaning meticulous organisation was needed to ensure a smooth running. Flora-tec handled each call out with efficiency to guarantee sites were seen to within a 4-hour time scale.

SOLUTION The Flora-tec way

Over 500 sites across the UK were covered.
Main sites site were Manchester Oxford Road, Salford Central, Barnsley Interchange, Alderley Edge to name a few.
This was a job of significant importance, as without our Railway’s being able to function, many people would receive negative implications.
